The Celestial Self Development Centre (CSDC) team will be marking its 10th anniversary on March 5th 2018. A week of activities is being planned to commemorate this milestone.

The company began operations in March 2008; months after Thecla Deterville took early retirement as the then General Manager from Courts St. Lucia Limited (Unicomer). With her passion for people development Thecla believed that she could do more to contribute to the growth and development of both private and public sectors, through performance improvement workshops, soft skills training, retreat facilitation and Management and human resource development consultancy. Since its inception CSDC has conducted over three hundred training, coaching and motivational sessions and impacting directly approximately five thousand seven hundred trainees. CSDC has also undertaken a number of consultancies ranging from capacity building interventions to needs assessments, succession and strategic planning, performance management and employee satisfaction surveys and human resource and organizational audits. We have provided services not only locally but in the other OECS islands.

Managing Director, Thecla Deterville said: “We are delighted to have reached this milestone, especially in such a competitive environment. We appreciate and value all the support we have been given over the past 10 years and that’s why we have chosen to celebrate this achievement with our clients, associates and friends”.

The week begins with an open house at our offices 99 Chaussee Road, on March 5th, with the official launch and ends with Saint Lucia’s fourth Vital Voices Global Mentoring Walk on Saturday 10th March, 2018. The slate of activities includes a motivational movie night, a free raffle, a waver of registration fee to gain access to the company’s library and a relaunch of our “Raise A Reader” initiative to benefit pre-schools in our area.
