Managing disciplinary Issues What stayed with me in this workshop was understanding primarily, who I am. This was when we had the brain colour – quiz exercise. Also how we identified our characteristics and preferences / the meaning of having a number. I understood that I possess a type “B” temperament which relates to being (An Authentic Idealist). This made me appreciate and understand people for who they are and how we are able to connect with each other. We are all made differently in the eyes of God and we must learn to work with people. We all have preferences in the manner we do things. We all have a range of temperaments. What’s most important is the strength of having some people attend to facts and figures, while others appeal to emotions and spontaneity. It’s the blend, the presence of different temperaments within a multitude of strengths, which keeps our world fascinating. Leadership is commissioning people’s worth and greatness. When the core values of this organization are held in high integrity and ethical standards, we are then able to hold our heads high in all our dealings, we then find it easier to mix with people of various temperaments. IT IS OFTEN SAID “It takes a workforce that is up to date on the latest skills and competences to help your organization’s drive - in innovation- and stay ahead of the competition.” Looking back, this workshop brought a sense of comradery. We sought God’s intervention before we began. We engaged in various exercises which made us think, like brain teasers etc. It all made us understand that life is made up of small pleasures. The course was insightful and artfully done, underlying the fact that people are the heart beat of a business.
